Story:		On an frozen battlefield, a love-struck barbarian chases a mysterious woman who does not reciprocate his feelings. The story "The Frost-Giant's Daughter" was the inspiration for this fun little retro-styled game. Conan - half dead from a battle against Vanir - encounters Atali, the daughter of Ymir the frost-giant. She lures him into a trap where her two giant brothers intend to slay Conan. While this is not really an official Conan game in the true meaning of the word, it's inspiration and background still makes it worth mentioning on a webpage about computer games that have Conan as a theme. Here is what the makers of the game said about their inspiration while making the game: "The Frost Giant's Daughter was one of Howard's first Conan the Barbarian stories. Conan finds himself the last man standing on a frozen, northern battlefield, and is taunted by a supernatural female. Never one to keep his lust to himself, Conan gives chase, with the intent to rape her, until he is ambushed by her brothers, two Frost Giants. He defeats the two, but is unable to capture the girl, who is whisked away by her father. I have taken many liberties with the source material, but it was interesting to think of ways to incorportate the elements from the original story into a short platform game.
