Story: The adventure starts with Conan busting into an ancient tomb on a hunt for treasure. Unfortunately, the hidden bounty is actually the body of a powerful, evil magician by the name of Graven. After beating Conan to a bloody pulp, the wizard steals the barbarian's magic armour and uses it to create a range of hideous bosses. Conan then sets out to retrieve the armor pieces (which are the only way to defeat the evil wizard). On the way, he teams up with A'Kanna, a beautiful she-warrior who is also looking to defeat the wizard. Until Conan gets a chance to kill Graven, he will have to travel far and beat tons of enemies, creatures and huge bosses.

Locations:

Conan travelled to the (lore-wise unknown) island of Balmoria in search of gold and adventure (at least it's not a 'revenge story'). From Balmoria Conan travels on to the Barachan Isles, then to (another unknown location in the lore) the island of Parad. Then to Kush, to Stygia and to Argos. Afterwards back to Parad Island, and even further back to the starting point - the island of Balmoria. The final battles take place in a 'City beneath the oceans' where Conan travels to through a magical portal.
